As we consider social distancing guidelines, many clinicians have switched their practices to telehealth. Although this modality can increase accessibility to services, it is a challenge to transition when we are not used to providing virtual services.
For many parents and caregivers experiencing mental health complications, continuing therapy during quarantine is vital to their wellbeing.
In this video, I discuss some basic steps to establishing an ethical practice and also some tools for clinically supporting clients via telehealth (the tools start at minute 4:16).
